As a member of our Purchasing Team, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Inventory management, monitor stock levels for assigned product lines to maintain optimal availability.
• Procurement and order processing, place orders with suppliers and coordinate transfers between locations as needed.
• Receiving and documentation, accurately receive and record products in the inventory management system.
• Product performance analysis, continuously evaluate sales trends and inventory turnover making strategic recommendations as needed.
• Market and product research, stay informed on industry trends, new product lines and supplier options to support purchasing decisions.

Experience:

• Qualified applicants must have strong analytical skills, be detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to problem solve effectively while fostering successful business relationships.
• Must be highly self-motivated and demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service and procurement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of building materials, millwork products and hardware supplies is a plus.

• Loading and unloading building materials on and off the truck
• Delivering products to local jobsites

Experience:

• Qualified candidates must have a valid CDL Class B driver’s license, a clean and safe driving record, and follow all company safety and DOT protocols.
• Knowledge of building and construction materials is helpful.
• Ability to operate a boom or moffett is a plus, however, we will train the right person.

Physical requirements:

• Include working outside in all seasons and the ability to lift heavy products and load and unload from a truck. Applicants will be required to use ladders, forklifts and other power equipment as needed.

Must be reliable, self-motivated, and a team player with a positive attitude. Overtime pay potential.

As a member of our team, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Supervising the day-to-day operations of the yard including (but not limited to) shipping, transfers, receiving, customer service, safety and inventory control.
• Hiring and training of new employees as well as administrating formal training and safety programs for all yard employees.
• Assisting customers with their lumber and building material needs.
• Building loads for daily deliveries and receiving orders from vendors.
• The individual will work closely with the Dispatcher and General Manager.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years in a supervisory role, demonstrating strong communication, conflict management, assertiveness, leadership, team building, and coaching/mentoring skills. Proven ability to motivate, engage, and effectively lead a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Include working outdoors in all seasons, performing heavy lifting, ability to be on feet all day, use of ladders, forklifts and other power equipment as needed.

Overtime pay potential.
